Jozani Forest Tour

Jozani Forest Reserve is located between Chwaka Bay and Uzi Bay and is the last remaining natural forest on the island of Unguja. It’s a vital sanctuary for the island’s wildlife. In the past, the entire island was covered with forests, but now Jozani is the only part that remains. Despite this, the forest is still home to a wide variety of animals.

The most famous residents of Jozani are the Red Colobus monkeys. These unique monkeys, with their distinctive red fur, are found only on Zanzibar.
